Job summary

Robinhood is hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and own backend services and data systems that power the company’s core financial products. You will tackle complex scalability challenges and gain expertise in U.S. financial systems, directly impacting millions of users.

The role supports the Brokerage, Incentives, and Identity teams, collaborating across engineering, product, and operations. Based in Menlo Park or New York, in-person attendance is expected at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software development.
• Delivered large-scale technical projects in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and systems with a focus on long-term maintainability.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting strict correctness and scalability standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with client teams, cross-functional partners, and external vendors to deliver technical solutions.
