Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our production support team in a hybrid role. You will be the primary escalation point for complex issues, work with engineering to resolve root causes, and leverage AI tooling to accelerate investigations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in application support, with strong REST, SQL/NoSQL, Python, and cloud experience, plus a customer-first mindset and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years in application support, preferably in financial services or trading.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for production issues from triage to resolution.
• Collaborate with development to fix issues and automate investigations.
• Use AI tooling to reduce repetitive tasks and build reusable assets.
• Validate AI outputs before delivery to clients or production systems.
• Create runbooks and knowledge base articles; mentor junior engineers.
