Job summary

Flint Hills Resources is seeking an Application Support Analyst in Wichita, KS to proactively troubleshoot complex applications, manage APIs, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable, AI-enhanced support. The role includes on-call rotation and travel to other sites.

Ideal candidates will have SQL, scripting skills (PowerShell/Python), and experience with AI-enabled workflows, and will partner with IT and business stakeholders to minimize downtime and improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting applications with complex integrations (event-based, APIs).
• Experience in SQL and basic coding capabilities (PowerShell, Python or similar).
• Experience with emerging AI technologies or building AI agents/workflows to automate processes.
• Experience partnering effectively with IT and non-IT stakeholders and articulating business impact.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex tech issues affecting customers and operations.
• Serve as escalation point to other analysts for complex problems and ideation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to drive permanent solutions and improve monitoring, alerts, and logging.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and coordinate with teams to detect and alert anomalies impacting business SLAs.
• Leverage AI agents/workflows to improve support processes and knowledge bases.
