Job summary

Astra is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing fintech Sales team. This role focuses on winning complex B2B SaaS deals, selling payments solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

You will shape Astra's Growth engine, work with leadership, and strive to forecast and close key partnerships. A remote-first US-based environment supports flexible work styles and broad customer impact.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales in Payments/FinTech.
• Proven prospecting and consultative selling with strong discovery and closing skills.
• Understanding of technical product sales in fintech/payments.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in all things payments, platform, rails and routes.
• Manage entire sales process from lead to contract.
• Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
• Sell consultatively and competitively throughout the cycle.
• Be a self-starter who initiates tasks and follows through.
• Uncover customer drivers to position the right solution confidently.
• Influence product roadmaps and go-to-market by voicing customer needs.
• Apply AI tools to sharpen research, automate workflows, and boost output.
• Collaborate with Integrations, Engineering, and Compliance teams for onboarding.
