Job summary

ProsperOps, Inc. is seeking a seasoned FinOps practitioner to support and expand our Autonomous Discount Management offering for AWS and Azure.

You will partner with customers to tackle cloud cost optimization challenges, delivering guidance on strategic and tactical FinOps matters and shaping future capabilities with the Product team. The ideal candidate will have deep FinOps expertise and a track record optimizing costs across major cloud providers, with the ability to extend depth to others.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in FinOps or engineering with a cloud provider, consultancy, or at scale (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with cost tooling and cloud financial management.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Execs to deliver demos showcasing technical edge and help close deals.
• Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities across AWS and Azure and communicate insights clearly.
• Be the go-to expert on commitment-based discounts (RI/Savings Plans) and spot capacity, across AWS and Azure.
• Craft and deliver dynamic demos to highlight ProsperOps value during sales engagements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Operations to answer platform questions and demystify rate optimization strategies.
• Team with Product to brainstorm and build new optimization services.
• Scope and configure Savings Analyses to tailor insights for each customer.
• Contribute to feature development and automation for Savings Analysis reports and tools.
