Job summary

DTCC in the United States seeks a FinOps Practitioner to lead cloud financial optimization across AWS, Azure, and Snowflake. You will bridge Finance, Engineering, Architecture and Cloud Operations to align investments with business objectives and cost discipline.

You will establish FinOps capabilities, drive governance, and deliver dashboards and executive-ready reporting, partnering with stakeholders to foster fiscal accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cloud cost management or technology finance.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills with the ability to present cost insights.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature FinOps capabilities across AWS, Azure, and Snowflake.
• Lead cloud spend governance for multi-cloud and data platforms.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Cloud Ops to track FinOps objectives.
• Develop cost allocation models, tagging standards, and chargeback/showback frameworks.
• Govern resource usage, pricing models, and Snowflake optimization strategies.
• Analyze cost data to identify savings opportunities and efficiency gains.
• Rightsize resources, schedule usage, and balance performance with cost.
• Partner with engineering on cost-informed architectural decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning for cloud expenses.
• Build cloud spend models showing historical trends and unit costs.
• Deliver dashboards and executive-ready cost insights to leadership.
• Utilize tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Snowflake usage views for monitoring.
