Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure & Cloud Spend Manager to own end-to-end financial visibility for cloud and infrastructure spend.

You will partner withEngineering, Product, and Procurement to strengthen forecasting discipline and drive cost optimization in a PE-backed growth environment. You will build a comprehensive cost taxonomy, lead forecasting, and champion FinOps practices, delivering dashboards and actionable insights for Finance and executives.

Qualifications

• Proven FP&A or FinOps experience in SaaS/cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost drivers, pricing models across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end cloud/infrastructure spend visibility and forecasting.
• Build cost taxonomy linking spend to products/teams/business units.
• Lead monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning for infrastructure cost lines.
• Identify cost-optimisation opportunities (RI, savings plans, rightsizing).
• Evaluate vendor contracts with data-driven cost usage analysis.
• Develop dashboards and self-service analytics for Finance, Engineering, and executives.
• Advise Engineering leadership on financial implications of architecture decisions.
• Develop rolling infrastructure spend forecast and drive cost savings within 6-12 months.
• Contribute to FinOps goals and EBITDA impact.
