Job summary

Mimecast, based in Lexington, MA with a hybrid onsite schedule, seeks a Sr. Infrastructure & Cloud Spend Manager to own end-to-end cloud and infrastructure spend visibility. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Procurement to forecast, optimize costs, and influence strategic decisions.

The role reports to the VP, Product Finance & Corporate Development and focuses on building scalable cost-management capabilities in a growth environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in FP&A, cost and financial analysis, or FinOps.
• Understanding of cloud cost drivers and pricing models across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills for large datasets.
• Strong communication and business-partnering with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with FinOps tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Finance owner for cloud and infrastructure spend across the business.
• Build and maintain a cost taxonomy mapping spend to products, teams, and units.
• Lead forecasting for cloud/infrastructure spend aligned with product roadmap and growth.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range planning for infra cost lines.
• Identify and drive cost-optimization opportunities with engineering.
• Evaluate vendor contracts and support negotiations with data-driven analysis.
• Champion FinOps practices and build dashboards for visibility into spend and unit economics.
• Advise Engineering leadership on financial implications of architecture decisions.
