Job summary

Mimecast, based in Lexington, MA, seeks a Sr. Infrastructure & Cloud Spend Manager to own end-to-end visibility and accountability for cloud and infrastructure spend. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Procurement to strengthen forecasting discipline, drive cost optimization, and inform strategic decisions.

This hybrid onsite role is centered in our Lexington, MA office. You will build a rolling infrastructure spend forecast, lead monthly and annual forecasting, and support

Qualifications

• Proven FP&A/FinOps expertise in SaaS or cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud pricing models across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; ability to translate cost data into actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Finance owner for cloud and infrastructure spend across AWS, Azure, GCP, data centers and colocation.
• Lead forecasting (monthly/quarterly/annual) and link usage trends to product roadmap and growth.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range planning for infrastructure costs; provide variance analysis.
• Identify and drive cost-optimization opportunities (RI instances, savings plans, rightsizing, architecture changes).
• Evaluate vendor contracts with data-driven cost/usage analyses; support negotiations.
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics to provide visibility into cloud spend and unit economics for leadership.
