Job summary

State of Oklahoma is recruiting a FinOps Engineer to optimize IT and multi-cloud financial operations across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will manage IBM Cloudability, cost allocation, dashboards, and ongoing optimization initiatives.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, vendor billing, and governance while partnering with IT, Finance, Procurement, and cloud platform teams to improve financial visibility and drive FinOps maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, preferably IT/cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud cost management, budgeting, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud costs across Azure, AWS, and GCP and report findings.
• Serve as admin for IBM Cloudability and manage cost allocation rules and dashboards.
• Create forecasting models to predict cloud usage and financial impact.
• Identify cost anomalies and savings opportunities and support budgeting and planning.
• Develop executive dashboards and reports for agency leadership.
