Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer II to drive cost management across product and platform groups. You will build cost optimization solutions, develop dashboards, and collaborate with Finance and Engineering teams to optimize cloud spend while contributing to the AI-native security platform. Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card for CJIS clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of containers (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Implement cost monitoring and alerting across cloud platforms.
• Develop scripts and automation for cost optimization workflows.
• Assist in cost allocation and tagging for accurate attribution.
• Create and maintain cost dashboards and reports.
• Support integration between cloud billing APIs and internal systems.
• Contribute to FinOps tooling and guardrail implementations.
• Participate in cost data collection and processing pipelines.
