Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer II to drive cost optimization across product and platform groups. You will build cost monitoring, dashboards, and automation, while partnering with Engineering to implement guardrails and cost-efficient patterns.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software engineering, strong Python/Go skills, cloud experience, and familiarity with containers. This role offers growth in a mission-driven cybersecurity company with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Git and collaboration workflows.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Implement cost monitoring and alerting solutions across cloud platforms.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for cost optimization workflows.
• Contribute to cost allocation and tagging implementations for accurate attribution.
• Create and maintain cost optimization dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support integration between cloud billing APIs and internal systems.
• Contribute to tooling development for FinOps processes.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Monitor and maintain cost management tools and systems.
