Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a FinOps Data Analytics Engineer II for remote work in the United States. You will contribute to cost monitoring, dashboards, and automation to optimize cloud spend while supporting cost data pipelines and tooling.

This role emphasizes collaboration with product and platform teams, learning best practices, and driving cost-conscious engineering decisions. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python/Go skills, and hands-on cloud platform

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools and observability concepts.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Develop cost monitoring and alerting solutions across cloud platforms.
• Create and maintain cost optimization dashboards and reporting tools.
• Assist in building cost allocation and tagging implementations for accurate attribution.
• Support integration between cloud billing APIs and internal systems.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
