Job summary

CrowdStrike is establishing a FinOps Data Analytics practice to drive sustainable cloud cost management across multiple product and platform groups. The FinOps Data Analytics Engineer II will build and implement cost optimization solutions while developing expertise in cloud cost management and FinOps practices.

The role involves technical development, engineering support, and collaboration with Finance and Product teams.

Qualifications

• > Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (U.S. citizenship or Green Card)
• > Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• > 3+ years of software engineering experience
• > Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages
• > Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• > Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• > Experience with monitoring tools and basic observability concepts
• > Understanding of Docker and containerization

Responsibilities

• Implement cost monitoring and alerting solutions across cloud platforms.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for cost optimization workflows.
• Assist in cost allocation and tagging for accurate attribution.
• Create and maintain cost dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support integration between cloud billing APIs and internal systems.
• Contribute to FinOps tooling across product and platform groups.
• Help implement cost guardrails and automated policies.
