Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Newton, IA seeks a Feeder-Catcher to support the Finishing Manager by driving operational performance and KPI improvements. You will load cases, monitor pack lines, and ensure accurate counts, labeling, and safety compliance.

The role requires basic manufacturing knowledge, reliable attendance, and the ability to work rotating shifts, with overtime as needed. You will uphold quality standards, perform checks, and follow SOPs while contributing to a

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic manufacturing practices and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate quality and production concerns to operators on prior/next shift.
• Basic mechanical ability to adjust equipment for production and quality.
• Excellent attendance with flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work environment for yourself and other associates.
• Notifies supervisor, maintenance, or quality immediately when a problem occurs with equipment or product and follows all rules.
• Maintains all required documentation per current SOPs.
• Loads cases into the auto packer and hand packs cartons as needed.
• Performs quality checks at required intervals.
• Ensures correct carton/case counts and finished cases are labeled properly.
• Operates PIV to move loads as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
