Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Omaha is seeking a Finishing Operator Assistant to support feeder/catcher, padlocker tasks, and pack finished cartons. You will feed cartons into the machine, supervise palletizing, and perform quality checks according to work instructions.

Responsibilities include stacking pallets, inspecting labels, restocking materials, and safely operating electric pallet jacks. The role requires standing for the shift, lifting 25–50 lb, and complying with SQF procedures

Qualifications

• Duties require standing (except breaks) for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Feed cartons into the machine and operate banding equipment.
• Pile, palletize and inspect finished cartons per work instructions.
• Review Pallet “S” Tags, Pallet log and Work Instructions for alignment.
• Inspect labels to ensure correct facing and carton appearance.
• Safe operation of electric Pallet Jacks to move WIP and finished pallets.
• Restock materials for subsequent crews and assemble corrugated per customer specs.
