Job summary

Ultra Machining Company (UMC) is seeking a General Finishing Operator in Monticello, MN to rotate through assembly, deburring, polishing, washing, and tumbling. You will use manual tools to produce cosmetically precise parts that meet customer specs and process requirements while embracing our values of Great People, Going Beyond, and Growing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing with machine trades and secondary operations preferred.
• Experience in finishing or second operations preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Use inspection equipment and measure parts to spec.
• Polish, wash, tumble, bead blast, hone, deburr parts as required.
• Ensure parts are consistently burr-free and meet process requirements.
• Uphold safety culture and report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly.
