Job summary

Precera Medical in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking a finishing technician to perform various finishing operations in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment. You will work under a microscope, interpret blueprints, perform line clearance between jobs, and help maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Starting pay is $20-$25 per hour with full-time and part-time options. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of finishing experience in a close-tolerance manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
• Interpret blueprints and follow manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Complete documentation for all jobs and perform line clearance between jobs.
• Inspect deburred parts using gauges, microscopes and measuring tools.
• Operate mass finishing equipment and assemble components.
• Package parts, perform basic set-ups, and support continuous improvement activities.
• Cross-train coworkers on basic operations and address non-conformities.
