Ashland Foundry & Machine Works, LLC seeks a skilled finishing technician to perform all phases of secondary casting part finishing, including removal of flashing, gating, and grinding to blend rough surfaces. You will work on Bull Ring Assemblies, breaking segments from gating and selecting components for assemblies.

Position requires continuous physical effort, standing most of the time, and occasional heavy lifting with overhead cranes and chain hoists available for support.

Qualifikationen

• Continual physical effort required to operate finishing tools and equipment.
• Standing position predominates with occasional lifting of medium to large castings.
• Able to walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel and crawl during tasks.

Aufgaben

• Finish casting parts by removing flashing and gating, grinding and blending surfaces.
• Perform grinding, fitting and assembly of Bull Ring Assemblies and select components for assemblies.
• Ensure proper boxing/identification of packaged assemblies per quality requirements.
