We are looking for:
A Chemical Operator (Covers Sulfation Operator, Monomers Operator, and Finishing Operator positions) to operate chemical processes and equipment safely to produce quality products. Conduct auxiliary tasks such as material transfers, adjustments, and packaging to ship products to customers.
We count on you for:
- Understanding and following plant health, safety, security, environmental policies and procedures
- Supporting quality management systems and ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Learning and training on job duties and qualified skills, following documented procedures
- Operating and monitoring chemical processes, batch reactors, blend vessels, and storage tanks manually and via computerized control systems
- Collecting process samples, performing simple lab analyses, and adjusting processes as needed
- Conducting bulk material transfers using pumps, hoses, heat exchangers, filters, and other equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and transfer equipment per procedures
- Loading and unloading bulk tank wagons
- Performing drumming operations, including unloading drums and palletizing
- Monitoring plant utilities and wastewater systems
- Operating forklifts and material handling equipment
- Completing janitorial and general labor tasks, including housekeeping
- Maintaining paperwork and electronic documentation such as batch records and log sheets
- Entering transactions and work notifications into SAP system
- Performing tasks safely and using personal protective equipment as required
- Preparing work permits for maintenance and contractors
- Inspecting, documenting, and repairing equipment as needed
- Troubleshooting process and equipment issues, seeking supervision assistance when necessary
- Completing training programs and passing assessments for specific qualifications (e.g., Drumming, Finishing, Sulfation, Monomers), and maintaining qualifications through ongoing review
- Training new hires and transfers
- Performing other duties as requested by management, prioritizing safety and qualifications

You will bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of chemical operations and batch manufacturing (preferred)
- Flexibility to work shifts, including holidays and weekends
- Teamwork, responsibility sharing, and willingness to learn and train others
- Strong math, problem-solving, and computer skills; SAP experience preferred
- Safety-conscious attitude, dependability, maturity, and productivity
