Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Finishing Team Manager for our Greenfield, Indiana facility. You will lead efforts to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving key objectives around Safety, Employee Engagement, Quality and Productivity on your assigned shift and department.

Responsibilities include promoting safety, guiding the shift team to meet goals, and driving continuous improvement through Lean Sigma/Kaizen activities to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 3+ years leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a diverse team, drive operational results and delegate effectively.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations systems and lean sigma tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to meet safety, service, quality, productivity, cost and inventory targets.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance reviews for team members.
• Drive operational improvements to enhance safety, engagement, quality and productivity.
• Oversee SOPs, quality standards, cycle counts and audits; participate in Lean Sigma/Kaizen events.
