Job summary

Avery Dennison is hiring a Finishing Team Manager - A Shift on-site in Greenfield, Indiana. You will lead the shift to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets while driving engagement and continuous improvement.

You will coach a diverse team, implement lean Sigma initiatives, enforce EHS policies, and ensure standard work and inventories align with facility goals. Bachelor's degree preferred; leadership experience required.

Qualifications

High School diploma and 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Ability to lead, coach, support, delegate, and develop a diverse team.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations systems, lean sigma tools, and continuous improvement (ELS).

Responsibilities

As the Finishing Team Manager - A Shift, lead safety, engagement, quality, productivity and cost targets on your shift.
Provide overall leadership for the shift, fostering a motivated environment to meet facility goals.
Initiate and support operational improvements to promote safety and productivity.
Ensure SOPs, standard work, quality standards, and audits are executed; troubleshoot processes.
