Job summary

Job Title: Finishing Material Handler

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt

Primary Job Function:

  • To keep product packed in line with the mill to avoid production shut down. Make sure that the customer’s requirements of packing are met to their specification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Detailed Job Duties – Make boxes and band package bundles, blow out and clean tubes, pulling poly, deburring, use overhead cranes and drive forklifts.
  • Responsibilities – To keep mills running and to keep work area clean.
  • Other duties necessary to perform this job as deemed necessary by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending & moving tubes, boxes, etc.
  • Standing for long periods
  • Non Climate controlled environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education – High School Graduate or G.E.D.
  • Software skills – Basic computer skills.
