Mac Papers + Packaging seeks a dependable Material Handler to support our warehouse operations in Jacksonville, FL. You will verify and pull raw materials, prepare labeling and packaging, and move finished pallets to appropriate locations, following job jackets and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include pallet stacking, wrapping, and operating pallet jacks, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to quality controls in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of direct envelope experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math and ability to read a ruler; basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read and understand job jackets.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Able to work alone and with a team.
• May be required to become certified in forklift operation.
• Must pass drug screen, criminal background check and physical exam.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare tape machine and labeling equipment as needed for each job.
• Lift, stack and arrange finished goods onto pallets as specified.
• Verify correct label and apply label on cartons, boxes, pallets as required per job ticket.
• Ensure the quality of the pallet stacking and label application per quality control procedures.
• Clean and maintain trays, rollers, bottles needed to apply labels.
• Fill out forms, tickets, tags to record / request goods.
• Tag pallets as required per the job jacket and quality procedures.
• Move finished pallets to the warehouse for wrapping.
• Manually seal cartons as needed.
• Operates manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Report all unsafe conditions and hazards to management.
• Follow all safe work practices and safety rules.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Other duties as required.

SUPERVISORS Full Time Warehouse Converters, Jacksonville, FL, US

Material handlers select and retrieve raw material. Stack finished material on pallets and label packaging appropriately. Move finished goods pallets to the warehouse or specified location and apply pallet wrapping; completed as specified per job jacket or given instruction. (This is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon management.)

Education and/or Experience:

• 1 - 2 years of direct envelope experience is preferred.

• Ability to read and understand job jackets.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk and stand continuously for long periods of time.

• Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to perform enhanced visual quality inspections needed to identify quality problems.
• Ability to distinguish a full range of colors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, 35 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to push/pull/leverage up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull a pallet jack (manual and electric) with loads up to 1,500 lbs.
