Job summary

Amsive in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Finishing Department Operator to run and maintain post-press lines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency to meet client specifications. You will operate Tecnau and Hunkeler finishing lines, input data into ERP, perform start-up and preventive maintenance, and monitor product quality to deliver high-quality finished materials for distribution or mailing.

Print & Mail Production background preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents and safety rules.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

Operate and setup Tecnau & Hunkeler finishing lines and traditional cutters and folders in bindery.
Enter data into ERP system to monitor performance, efficiency, and quality.
Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
Sample and monitor product quality and adjust as needed.
Troubleshoot finishing line performance and quality issues; ensure continuous production.
