Job summary

Amsive LLC in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a dedicated Finishing Department Operator to run and maintain post-press equipment, ensuring printed materials are completed accurately, efficiently, and to client specifications.

You will operate Tecnau and Hunkeler finishing lines, set up cutters and folders, enter data into the ERP system, perform start-up and preventive maintenance, and monitor quality to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with print workflows and USPS regulations.
• Experience operating high-speed finishing equipment.
• Ability to read safety and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tecnau and Hunkeler finishing lines and traditional cutters and folders.
• Enter data into ERP system to monitor performance, efficiency and quality.
• Perform equipment start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance.
• Sample and monitor product quality and make modifications as needed.
• Troubleshoot finishing line performance and quality problems.
• Replenish materials as depleted.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
