Job summary

Amsive is seeking an operator to run high-speed print and mail equipment in Bolingbrook, IL. You will manage multiple inserters, inkjet, and tipping lines, perform logging, and maintain housekeeping to meet production targets.

This role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and shift-to-shift communication. Candidates should be flexible for peak season, participate in continuous improvement, and collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• PPE compliant and LOTO-aware
• Understand mail prep impact at piece level
• Maintain accurate job and downtime logs
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Provide clear shift handoffs and timely updates
• Be flexible for peak season and holidays
• Participate in CI events to improve uptime and changeovers
• Maintain equipment at or above cycle speeds

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed inserters, Flowmasters, and inkjet systems
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE
• Log machine data, downtime, and changeovers accurately
• Maintain clean and organized work area and tool staging
• Communicate status to supervisor and maintenance teams
• Adjust coverage during peak periods and mail drops
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas
• Ensure equipment runs at required cycle speed
