Description

Custom Powder Systems is the leading provider of systems to transport, contain, blend and process dry materials for pharmaceutical, food, nutrition supplements, and industrial manufacturing. We offer benefits and an air conditioned and heated shop. Candidates must be available to perform a grind/polishing test; they will also need to pass a drug test and physical before being hired.

We are currently searching for experienced Craftsmen Grinders Finishers with 3-5 years of experience. The incumbent will be responsible for reading and interpreting instructions from blueprints or other specifications to produce a finished product. They will be experienced in performing a grit finish test within acceptable range with RA meter as required by project specifications and within suggested time frame of a project and with efficient use of consumables. They will collect data and communicate with team members to ensure that tasks are completed within the correct time frame. Applicants must be willing to follow company safety guidelines and adhere to daily work schedules.

Requirements

Physical demands are not limited to; walking, standing, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, grasp and pinch and type. Lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally more. Stooping, bending, squatting and kneeling. Reaching at or below shoulder height and above shoulders. Hand eye coordination, close and distance vision and be able to identify and distinguish colors and depth perception. Hearing and driving in all weather conditions. Other requirements may be required with different projects.
