Job summary

Asphalt Specialists, LLC., a southeast Michigan leader with 30+ years of experience, is seeking a Finisher Grade Operator with Bulldozer experience to safely operate heavy machinery on construction sites.

Responsibilities include smoothing and leveling ground, following Foreman instructions, and ensuring timely, quality work while meeting safety and transportation requirements. Weekend work and overtime may be required; valid license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge of earthwork operations, equipment, trucking and material transport.
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening per MDOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate finisher grade with bulldozer to smooth and level ground.
• Follow Foreman directions on daily tasks for each project.
• Maintain a clean MVR with limited moving violations.
• Ensure safety and efficiency on construction sites.

Experience and Skills:

• Must be looking for a long-term career.

• Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
• Candidate should have strong work ethic.
• Must be willing to work weekends and work overtime.
• Clean MVR with no more than two moving violations in ten years.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening per MDOT regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work on Saturday.
• Willing to work overtime.
