FM Industries in Fremont, CA is seeking a Finisher 2 to deburr, sand and clean parts across materials from aluminum to copper under supervision. The role offers multiple shifts including days, swing, and weekends.

Days: Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm; Swing: Mon-Fri 2:00pm to 10:30pm; Weekends: Fri-Sun 8am to 8pm

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As a Finisher 2, you will deburr, sand and clean parts on repeat or proven part(s) with simple to high complexity on a various material such as aluminum, steel, plastic, and copper with direction from area Lead or Supervisor.

• Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications
• Work independently to complete repeat tasks with little supervision
• Ensure an accurate router accompanies all work orders
• Follow blueprint or instructions to achieve required surface finishes such as lay patterns and sealing surfaces

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous finishing experience three to five years preferred
• Enrolled in vocational education for machine technology or practical aspects of blueprint reading,
