JOB TITLE: Finish SupervisorSUMMARYResponsible for providing direction to team members of a production unit, that will promote the accomplishment of the production unit goals in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESManage and coach team members on proper production processes and standards.Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followedOrganize work flow by assigning and directing responsibilities and alternative methodsIdentify issues of in-efficiency and suggest improvementsProvide hands-on support and trainingClearly communicate job expectations to team membersEnforce policies and procedures through the use of coaching and disciplinary proceduresEnsure that finished products are completed to product quality standardsEnsure the availability of raw materials to the production processesEnsure adherence to all company rules and policiesProvide motivation and leadership to team personnelWork with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencyTrain new team members on how to perform safely and how to properly perform job duties.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSHigh School diploma; Advanced training preferredProven experience as a Production Lead/Supervisor or similar role with 1 year of experienceMust be able to demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse group of team members.Organizational and leadership abilitiesWritten and oral communication skillsMust be self-motivated with a strong background in problem solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsMust demonstrate a dependable work ethicMust be dependable – have a good attendance record, (5 points or less).Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time, work longer shifts as necessary, and be able to work 6 days a week during peak periods.Must be available to work both day and evening shiftsMust be able to receive a satisfactory result of a criminal background check to be considered for this position.
