Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in Missouri is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team and ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to drive continuous improvement and coach Department Leaders for future leadership roles. You will set daily/weekly goals, resolve issues, and collaborate with plant management to maintain performance metrics.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of the majority of assembly manufacturing processes in assigned area.
• Knowledge of company policies and production floor procedures.
• Strives for continuous improvement with a team-based mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of team members to meet safety, quality, production, and employee relations KPIs.
• Communicate major issues to Department Leaders and Plant Management and support functions.
• Develop, motivate, and coach Department Leaders for future leadership roles.
• Plan and monitor daily/weekly goals and drive action plans to achieve results.

Other duties may be assigned.The Supervisor is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding safety, quality, production, and employee relations performance objectives by communicating all relevant information/major issues to Department Leader/Plant Manager I/Plant Manager II and all supporting functional areas while simultaneously working to resolve the issue. The Supervisor’s chief responsibility is to ensure performance measured by metrics in his/her area is meeting or exceeding all defined goals and performing leader standard work as defined and outlined below. This work should be completed while adhering to and complying with Company policy.
