Job summary

Carry On Trailer is seeking a Production Lead to guide a manufacturing unit in achieving safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. You will coach and direct team members, enforce procedures, and ensure raw materials and finished goods meet standards.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, a proven supervisory background, and flexibility to work day and evening shifts, including peak periods. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; Advanced training preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Production Lead/Supervisor or similar role with 1 year of experience.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of team members.
  • Organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong background in problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must demonstrate a dependable work ethic.
  • Must be dependable – have a good attendance record, (5 points or less).
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work on time, work longer shifts as necessary, and be able to work 6 days a week during peak periods.
  • Must be available to work both day and evening shifts.
  • Must be able to receive a satisfactory result of a criminal background check to be considered for this position.

  • Identify issues of in-efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Provide hands-on support and training.

  • Enforce policies and procedures through the use of coaching and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure that finished products are completed to product quality standards.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials to the production processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all company rules and policies.
  • Provide motivation and leadership to team personnel.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Train new team members on how to perform safely and how to properly perform job duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
