Robbins Lumber Company is seeking a dependable Finger Joint Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role operates and monitors finger-jointing equipment to produce quality lumber products.

Starting pay is $20/hour with pay range potential over career of $37,304–$62,870 annually, plus benefits including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan with employer match.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finger-jointing machinery and related equipment.
• Set up and adjust equipment to maintain production and product quality.
• Inspect lumber and finished products for defects, proper dimensions, and quality.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Identify equipment problems and communicate issues to maintenance or supervision.
• Perform routine equipment checks and assist with basic maintenance as trained.
• Maintain consistent production while meeting quality standards.
• Safely handle lumber, materials, and equipment throughout the production process.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Complete production paperwork and records as required.
• Work cooperatively with other employees and departments to keep production running efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
