Job summary

ForestryWorks is seeking a dependable General Machine Operator to join our lumber manufacturing team in Mississippi. You will operate and maintain sawmill and production machinery, ensuring safety and efficiency on a Monday–Friday schedule with OT potential.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with machinery, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in forestry or manufacturing is a strong plus, with emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing/industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with machinery and mechanical systems desired.
• Forestry/logging industry experience is a strong plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Machine Operator to join our lumber manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining various types of production equipment used in the processing of lumber and wood products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, equipment knowledge, and a background or familiarity with the forestry or logging industry.

• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
