Job summary

Fred Meyer Jewelers is seeking a dedicated sales professional in Kirkland, WA to deliver a superior jewelry shopping experience. You will engage customers, meet personal sales targets, and promote Diamond Parties and events while maintaining product knowledge and showroom standards.

You will work with teammates toward store goals, build lasting customer relationships, and handle POS transactions, fittings, and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have sales, retail and/or jewelry experience.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver excellent service.
• Achieve personal sales targets (credit applications, protection plans).
• Promote Diamond Parties and special events with every customer.
• Collaborate with team to reach store goals and create positive atmosphere.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through clienteling.
• Provide product knowledge and explain features/benefits to customers.
• Advise on quality, cuts, value and assist in mounting and settings choices.
• Attend monthly meetings and operate POS and handle payments/credit.
• Inspect and clean jewelry; provide estimates for repairs.
• Perform watch battery replacements and band adjustments.
• Follow receiving and processing procedures; display merchandise per plan.
• Open/close procedures and basic housekeeping; maintain store safety.
• Participate in inventory; complete case counts.
• Maintain flexibility to work any shift including weekends/holidays.
