About Us: M. Flynn Jewelry has been changing the jewelry landscape in Boston for over 15 years. M. Flynn designs jewelry including engagement rings and wedding bands in-house, while curating collections from some of the industry's most sought-after designers, including Anita Ko, Brent Neale, Kwiat, Melissa Kaye, Marla Aaron. With a focus on the country's most wanted designers and M. Flynn's own custom jewelry program, the store serves the modern jewelry customer who mixes high and low pieces and seeks jewelry that fits their personality and lifestyle. JUNIOR SALES ASSOCIATE

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Junior Sales Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves jewelry, fashion, and working with people, and who wants to build a career in fine jewelry and luxury retail. The position combines sales, client service, and online order fulfillment. You'll spend time on the sales floor supporting our sales team and working directly with clients. You'll also help manage and fulfill our online business. The role is full-time and based on-site in our downtown Boston location on Waltham Street. Saturday availability is a must, as we are a busy retail environment.

The first three months will focus on training: learning our products, designers, systems, and customer experience. After that, you'll be eligible for our sales commission program and will take on more responsibility for your own sales.

You don't need to know everything about jewelry. We can teach you. We're looking for someone with a great attitude, strong people instincts, and a desire to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Experience

• Welcome and engage clients on the sales floor, creating a warm, personal shopping experience
• Support the sales team with client appointments, sales, follow-up, and customer service
• Build strong product knowledge across all M. Flynn collections and designers, and learn to present and sell them with confidence
• Help clients with purchases, returns, exchanges, repairs, and other service needs

Online Sales and Order Fulfillment

• Process and fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare jewelry for shipment, including quality checks, packaging, and shipping
• Monitor online orders and keep clients updated on order status

Store and Team Support

• Assist with merchandising, inventory, receiving, and maintaining the sales floor
• Keep the store organized, polished, and client-ready
• Support special projects, events, trunk shows, and other store initiatives
• Pitch in wherever needed in our fast-paced small-business environment

Additional Duties

• Participate in daily store set up and break down
• Must work Saturdays on a regular basis
