Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a dining server to join our upscale dining team. The role involves taking and serving orders, greeting guests, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for residents and visitors alike.

You will handle menu details, allergens, and preparation notes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. A background in fine dining is preferred, with focus on accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year, preferably 2-3 years, of waiting tables in a fine dining or country club.
• Ability to read recipes, diet orders, and resident preferences.
• Able to handle routine tasks with interruptions and maintain courtesy.
• Patient and respectful toward staff, residents, and family members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service that promotes satisfaction and reflects an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food/beverage orders timely and appropriately reflecting an upscale dining experience.
• Greet customers with courtesy and address dissatisfied guests as needed.
• Know menu details, allergens, and how items are prepared to explain to guests.
• Make recommendations and share information about the menu.
• Have full knowledge of drink recipes for order entry.
• Serve 16+ guests at a time and recall orders on request.
• Check products for quality and rectify issues to ensure guest enjoyment.
• Perform dining service setup and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with setup for catering events and buffets as required.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies and ensure proper temperatures.
• Assist with cleanup and sanitization of dining areas and equipment.
