Job summary

Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in Mescalero, NM seeks a Wendell’s Server to greet guests, explain menus, and provide attentive service in a fine dining setting. You will maintain knowledge of beverages, accommodate special needs, and ensure smooth service from seating to departure.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of restaurant serving experience, holds a NM alcohol server license (or can obtain one within a month), and demonstrates strong hospitality, teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 years job related experience in restaurant serving.
• Must possess and maintain a New Mexico alcohol server license or be able to obtain one within one month of employment.
• Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits; familiarity with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide top quality service to the guest, greeting properly and accommodating special needs.
• Take orders, explain menu items, and ensure accurate and timely service.
• Maintain server station cleanliness and proper beverage preparation.
• Communicate needs and issues to team members; contribute to smooth service.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements; assist as needed with other duties.
