Job summary

Castaway is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at our renowned California venue. You will greet guests, describe menu items, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Requirements include 2+ years in a full‑service restaurant (fine dining preferred), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Server in a full-service restaurant; fine dining experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering outstanding service.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide detailed descriptions of menu items and beverages.
• Relay orders accurately to kitchen and bar staff and ensure timely delivery.
• Serve food and drinks promptly according to service standards.
• Anticipate and fulfil guests' needs with courtesy and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area; reset tables as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.
