Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Puerto Rico is hiring a Food Server to deliver meals from kitchen to guests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and to assist with setup and service.

You will greet guests, support tables, anticipate needs, balance trays, and maintain high-volume service standards in a luxury resort environment. Fluency in English (and Spanish) and at least one year of F&B experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Average reading, writing and oral proficiency in English and Spanish language.
• Minimum one-year food and beverage service or equal.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
• Basic food and beverage service knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
• Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
