Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality–Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Guest Services/Server Assistant to support the fine dining team within ZuZu. Greet guests warmly, support servers, and uphold high standards of service in a bustling fine dining setting. Training provided; opportunities for advancement and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner.
• Be familiar with all standards of fine dining service etiquette.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings, and pre-shifts, supplemental training sessions and menu roll outs.
• Assist servers with general service throughout the guest experience; provide water service offerings, after guest have been seated, and replenish throughout service.
• Able to lift moderate weights and remain on feet for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to listen effectively, speak and write English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with the standards of fine dining service etiquette.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings, pre-shifts, and training sessions.
• Assist servers with the guest experience; provide water service and replenish throughout service.
• Support the assigned server through the steps of service.
• Break down bus trays and assist dishwashers when needed.
• Maintain service stations and ensure tables are set to standards.
• Promote excellent guest relations.
