Job summary

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess seeks a Bourbon Steak Server Assistant to join our luxury dining team. You will provide consistent, friendly service, assist Food & Beverage Servers, and help guests navigate menu items to ensure a memorable dining experience in our premiere outlets.

Minimum of 2 years in fine dining is preferred; prior POS experience is an asset. The role offers employee discounts, free meals on site, learning programs through our Academies, robust benefits, and paths for career

Qualifications

• 2 years previous fine dining service experience required.
• Previous Point of Sale System experience an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist Food & Beverage Servers in all aspects of the dining experience
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Ensure the proper set up of all side stations in the outlet
• Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Other duties as assigned
