Job summary

Saks Global in New York City is seeking a Server Assistant to uphold the luxury dining experience across our network. You will maintain the dining room, assist service and culinary teams, and ensure flawless table readiness for guest service.

You will collaborate with front- and back-of-house staff, assist with food and beverage delivery, manage floor setups, and handle guest requests with poise, all while upholding top-tier hygiene and presentation standards in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food and beverage or upscale hospitality.
• Knowledge of proper order of service and luxury table settings.
• Autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dining room layout and reset tables per brand standards.
• Learn table numbers, seating charts, and server sections.
• Restock glassware, flatware, china, and linens.
• Assist with service stations, beverage areas and side-work hubs.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables per kitchen tickets.
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house teams as needed.
• Move or adjust furniture to ensure guest comfort.
• Perform pre/post shift side-work and attend team briefings.
