Sorelle is seeking a Server Assistant to support the dining room by clearing tables, resetting stations, and assisting servers to maintain a smooth service flow. This role requires high standards of cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations, plus willingness to learn through pre-shift meetings and menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of fine dining service experience.
• Knowledge of service and food & beverage, and thorough knowledge of fine dining.
• Cleanliness, organization and the ability to work well in a team.
• Food and wine knowledge is a plus.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol.
• High school or equivalent education required.
• Demonstrated motivation to progress in a fine dining environment.
• Ability to operate a cash register POS system and Microsoft-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform duties to Sorelle expectations and manuals.
• Perform side work for the assigned station.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items.
• Welcome guests and provide responsive, professional service.
• Answer questions about the menu, wine list, and beverages.
• Liaise with servers to communicate guest wants and needs.
• Bus tables and set tables.
• Stock stations and linens.
• Polish china, glass, and silverware.
• Maintain a clean dining room and service stations.
• Comply with health, safety, and labor regulations.
