Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks an Assistant General Manager for The Library Restaurant & Bar at Park MGM to partner with the General Manager on strategic direction and leadership for the team, driving operational and financial goals while upholding MGM standards.

You will oversee scheduling, training, guest relations, and implementation of F&B initiatives to deliver exceptional experiences and WOW moments for guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing a High-Volume, Fine Dining, or upscale full‑service restaurant.
• Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred.
• Working knowledge of liquor, wine, and spirits preferred.
• Experience executing private and group events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control and guest service standards.
• Assist General Manager with HR responsibilities, hiring, training, performance feedback, and diversity initiatives.
• Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction; handle complaints and oversee guest feedback channels.
• Ensure execution of policies, procedures, training, menus, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of venue's food & beverage products, menus, and equipment.
