The role emphasizes craftsmanship, consistency, teamwork, and ability to work well under pressure during service. Experience in upscale scratch-kitchens is preferred.

Qualifications

• We require 2-3+ years in fine-dining or upscale scratch-kitchen environments.
• Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques and terminology.
• Professional knife skills and precise prep work.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stay professional under high-pressure service.
• Team-oriented and coachable with a positive attitude.
• Effective communication, listening, and line leadership.
• Willingness to assist with daily lineup meetings and kitchen upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Execute scratch meal prep and plate presentation to fine-dining standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and stocked station with batch-cooking methods.
• Follow detailed recipes, flavor profiles, plating standards, and portions.
• Demonstrate culinary technique across knife skills, sauté, roast, grill, and classic methods.
• Uphold station organization and prep readiness throughout service.
• Monitor inventory and complete order sheets to maintain par levels.
