Job summary

Eddie & Vinny's Coastal Italian in South Florida is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to manage the cook station, set up properly, receive and relay guest orders, and plate dishes to our quality standards in a fast-paced fine-dining setting.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow sanitation rules, learn the menu, communicate with the expeditor, and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen team. Valid food handler certification and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
• Must lift pots, pans and items up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Possess a valid food handler's certification.
• Able to perform simple math and understand units/measures.
• Stand and move for extended periods; maintain safety and speed in a kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follow station setup procedures and manage the cook station.
• Receive and communicate guest orders; plate items to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and proper storage.
• Communicate orders to station cooks with accuracy.
• Coordinate with expediter/server when dishes are plated.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and uniform standards.
