Job summary

Legends Global–The Star Frisco is seeking a Line Cook to deliver quick and efficient service in a fine dining setting, maintaining sanitation standards and joining a high-paced kitchen team.

Responsibilities include following Chef directives, preparing items per standards, and upholding safety and cleanliness across the kitchen, with opportunities to contribute to a premier club and events at The Star in Frisco, TX.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Culinary education or fast-paced high-volume fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to assure service standards.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to read, speak and write in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work all events including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening/closing procedures and food preparation as directed by the Exec Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Prepare food items by complying with portion size, quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain proper sanitation for all dining and cooking utensils and cookware.
• Keep kitchen clean including shelves, walls, floors and drains.
• Work as a team to ensure excellent service and delivery of products.
• Adhere to appearance and uniform standards.
