Job summary

Sparrows Point Country Club in Dundalk, MD, part of Troon, is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook. You will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing dishes for all culinary outlets, uphold kitchen sanitation, and help deliver meals on time in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have at least four years of fine dining experience, are dependable and team-oriented, and able to follow directions.

Qualifications

Four years of experience in a fine dining environment.
Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
Dependable with ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for quality of all products served.
Assist Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all outlets.
Follow standard recipes accurately when preparing assigned items.
Assist with monthly food and supplies inventory.
Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.
Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for food preparation and storage areas as directed.
Help distribute food and supplies across all outlets.
Clean food production, holding, and serving equipment as needed.
Assist with receiving and storing products.
Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
